Education and Qualifications:
I have served as a Trustee on the Hillsborough School Board for the past nine years, serving as Board President four times — including three straight years leading the district through the Covid pandemic, and driving the return to full-time in-person education. In the recent June election, we successfully passed a school facilities bond for the first time in two decades.

I have a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University, and co-founded a successful internet startup company. My wife and I have lived in Hillsborough for 22 years. Our daughters attended Hillsborough's preschool, elementary, and middle school, and have continued with public education for high school and college.

I'm honored to have been awarded the 2022 Citizen of the Year from the Associated Parents' Groups (APG) of the Hillsborough School District. With the support of the community and local officials, I am running for re-election to the school board, and would appreciate your vote.
