Education and Qualifications:
I have served as a Trustee on the Hillsborough School Board for the past thirteen years, serving as Board President four times — including three straight years driving the return to full-time in-person education during the Covid pandemic. We successfully passed a $140 million school facilities bond in 2022; I have served on the Facilities Committee guiding those construction projects, and look forward to completing them. I have also served as Commissioner on Hillsborough's Recreation Commission during my tenure, overseeing the preschools and after-school sports.

I earned a Ph.D. in AI from Stanford University and co-founded a successful internet startup company. My wife and I have lived in Hillsborough for 26 years. Our daughters attended Hillsborough's preschool, elementary, and middle school, and have continued with public education for high school and college.

I'm honored to have been awarded the 2022 Citizen of the Year from the Associated Parents' Groups (APG) of the Hillsborough School District. With the support of the community and local officials, I am running for re-election to the school board for my fourth term. I would appreciate your vote.
